July 2007 Due to the gentle coercion
and persistence of a friend (or is that fiend?) , there
will be tutorials for
Paint Shop Pro. They're for your pleasure, but please don't claim
the copyrighted tutorials as your own.
Suggestions for creating house parts, starting with
roof architectural styles. Here's one on windows and another on
shutters. |
Along with suggestions about
how to build dormer
windows, here's a page on
dormer window
architectural styles.PSP tips.
Here's a short essay on the
Early American Colonial
architectural style.
7/9/07 Chris just sent
pix from St. Kitts. I'm packed. |
A long time ago I fell in love with computer graphics. One of the first
forays was pixel editing images in Harvard Graphics under DOS, consisting of changing the gender of clipart
(OK, pixeled boobs and beards on and off clipart) for a cable television
presentation for Birmingham, England. It was apparently memorable because
a very Sr. VP of a megacompany recalled the critters over a decade later.
After PowerPoint appeared and
then HTML, I needed more sophistication, so I played with a lot of
software until I found Paint Shop Pro. Now that I have time to mess around with more
than creating logos and custom business images, this is my gallery of
experiments. Every picture starts with a blank canvas. Actually, it's an explanation to my family and friends of
what I do with myself when I'm not walking LaMolli, the Shih Tzu.
In 2006 after I found the PSP
8 that had never been installed, I decided to do tutorials by others, and the results are the ones in the section
Rooms. I've even forsaken PSP 8 and
reverted to version 7.04, which I like better.
